Non Camp Union for separate township in Valley

JAMMU, Dec 26: All Displaced Kashmiri Pandit Non Camp Welfare Union in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of its president D N Kissu made it clear that return of Pandits was not possible unless and until Government looks into the cause of genocide and mass exodus of the community from Valley and brings the truth before the entire country in this regard.
The meeting reiterated the demand for carving out of a separate township for the Community in Valley. It accused the Government of lack of will in framing a concrete policy on return and rehabilitation of Pandits in Valley as per their aspirations.
The meeting also demanded political empowerment for the community. Those who addressed the meeting included M L Pandita, P L Sudeshi, Prof G L Koul, Bal Ji, P N Raina, C L Zuthsi and B N Bhat.
The meeting also expressed solidarity with the relief holders and demanded enhancement of relief immediately.
