RAMBAN, May 17: A nomad died due to fall at Gujrara area, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramsoo police station.
As per police sources, a nomad namely Mohammad Rafiq, son of Baja Bakerwal of Kokernag, Kashmir was cutting leaves for his cattle on a tree, when his foot slipped and he fell down.
The profusely bleeding nomad was shifted to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Ukerhal, where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
After completing legal formalities, the body has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Ramsoo police has taken cognizance in this regard.
