JAMMU, Oct 29: 7-wicket haul including a hat-trick by Nityam Abrol and a brilliant knock of 41 runs by Aarav Mahajan helped Kishen Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) to thrash Tawi Sports Club by a big margin of 102 runs in the ongoing 5-Match Friendship Series at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Batting first, KCCC scored 150 runs in 35 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process. Young promising Aarav Mahajan top scored with 41 runs, while Snoop, Himal and Tejas contributed 37, 22 and 14 runs to the total respectively. From Tawi Sports Club, Udhay Partap Singh, Sahil, Chitwan and Arjun claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, Tawi Sports Club collapsed at 48 runs in 18 overs, thus lost the match by 102 runs. Udhay Partap Singh top scored with 17 runs, while none of the other batsmen could cross the double figure mark. For KCCC, Nityam took 7 wickets, while Bismadh, Aditya and Prabjot claimed 1 wicket each.
