Nitish takes 6 wkts, Sahil scores fifty as AMCO Club outplays UCC

JAMMU, May 28: Nitish was the wrecker-in-chief, scalping 6 important wickets by conceding just 10 runs in 4.5 overs, while Sahil scored brilliant 51 runs off 41 balls, studded with 6 fours and 2 sixes, to guide AMCO Cricket Club to a convincing victory over United Cricket Club (UCC) Sarwal in the ongoing JKCA Premier Cricket Championship, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Earlier, put into bat, AMCO Cricket Club scored 171 runs in 28.4 overs. Sahil scored 51 runs, while Ajay contributed 27 runs to the total. Vikas and Harvinder took 3 wickets each for UCC Sarwal, while Kapil claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, UCC Sarwal bundled out for 107 runs in 19.5 overs. Vikram Aditya top scored with 27 runs. Nitish took 6 wickets, while Harry claimed 2 wickets for AMCO Cricket Club. Nitish of AMCO Cricket Club was declared as the man of the match for his magnificent bowling display.
The match was officiated by Ashok Singh, Sandeep Manchanda and Rahul Kumar, while the championship is being organized under the overall supervision of retired Judge, Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal.
The Organizing Committee includes Rajesh Gill, Rajesh Dhar, Vijay Saberwal, Vijay Sharma, Harsh Nayyar and Sachin Singh.
