JAMMU, Jan 6: Nissan Group of India, the second-fastest growing car company in India, inaugurated a new dealership in Kangra today.
This is the company’s third dealership in HP after Mandi and Solan. This latest dealer inauguration is another step forward for Nissan as the company continues its steady sales and service network expansion pan-India.
The newly-inaugurated dealership, MR Nissan is strategically located at Ghurkari Matour Chowk to cater to the sales and after sales requirements of Nissan customers residing in State and bordering areas of Punjab.
MR Nissan’s workshop also provides a convenient option for any after sales requirements of Nissan and Datsun customers from neighbouring states like Delhi, Haryana and Punjab who are travelling to the various hill stations in State.
Speaking at the inauguration, Arun Malhotra, MD, Nissan Motor India Private Limited said that Nissan’s dealer network continues to steadily grow in line with our plans. Himachal Pradesh is an important market for Nissan and Datsun, and we have seen a tremendous response for Datsun cars like redi-GO and GO+ from customers in the hilly areas of India. We are delighted to open our third dealership today in Himachal Pradesh.
Anand Pal Singh, Dealer Principal MR Nissan said that this new dealership is a great opportunity for us to bring Nissan and Datsun vehicles closer to existing and prospective customers in Kangra looking for a great driving experience.
Meanwhile, Nissan has opened 10 new dealerships in India from April through December 2016. This equates to roughly one new dealer opening every month. The company is focused on improving the experience of customers when they visit the company’s dealers. In August 2016, Nissan increased its ranking to second place in the annual JD Power 2016 India Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Study, with a score of 831 out of the 1000 point scale.
