REASI, July 3: Hailing from district Doda, Wrestler Nisar Ahmed of J&K Police defeated Wrestler Manna of Captain Chand Roop Akhara Delhi and lifted the title trophy of “2nd Salal Kesari Dangal” held at Village Geadil, here.
The wrestling competition was organized by Geadil Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
On the occasion, Deputy Manager NHPC Salal PL Sharma was the chief guest who gave away cash prizes to the winner and runner-up wrestlers in presence of President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar and Mohammad Nadeem Bhat, organizer of the competition, Deputy Manager NHPC Salal Munish Kant Gourav, Assistant Manager RS Prabhakar, Contractor Ajaz Magray, Hotelier Vikram Singh Contractor Virender Pandoh and sports lovers.
The second bout was won by Roshan Lal of J&K Police who defeated Amir Khan of Bajrangi Akhara. The third bout was won by Lallu of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu who defeated Kulbir Singh of Domana. The fourth bout was won by Raj Kumar of Delhi, who beat Babba of Kot Bhalwal and the fifth bout was won by Akram of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu who defeated Vijay of Bai-Bajalta.
OTHER RESULTS: Gulshan Singh of Kalakote beat Sandeep of Delhi, Murad Ali of Domana defeated Kuldeep of Delhi, Munner Khan of Domana crushed Bir Singh of Reasi, Balwan Singh of J&K Police defeated Javed Khan of Nargada, Rajesh Sharma of J&K Police crushed Dilbagh Singh of Mahore, Jagdev Singh of Narkote smashed Laikat Ali of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu, Raj Singh of Mahore beat Asraf of Domana, Suneet Singh of Kalakote defeated Munish of Amritsar and Niaz Ali of Domana thrashed Sher Mohammad of J&K Police.
