Nirmal meets PM; Raina calls on Madhav, Ram Lal

Jammu, July 11: Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Dr Nirmal Kumar Singh today called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi while BJP president Ravinder Raina met BJP general secretaries Ram Madhav and Ram Lal separately in New Delhi today.
Dr Singh informed the PM about the status of progress made on the ambitious project of e-Assembly project in J&K that has been envisaged for end to end computerization and digitization of the Assembly processes thus making an end to paper work.
Briefing on Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra , Dr Singh said that adequate safety and other arrangements were put in place for the pilgrims of the holy shrine to ensure smooth pilgrimage and necessary measures are initiated to accommodate the heavy rush of yatris.
During the meeting, various development activities taken up in State were also discussed.
Meanwhile, Ravinder Raina had detailed discussions on organizational matters with Ram Madhav and Ram Lal. However, there was no discussion on Government formation.
Madhav is likely to visit J&K after July 20.
