Nipun, Ateev at BCCI’s U-16 Batting Camp

JAMMU, July 27: For their fabulous display of batting while representing the State in Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI’s) U-16 tournament, opening batsman Nipun Verma and wicket-keeper batsman Ateev Saini got the zonal selectors nod to be picked in the BCCI’s Batting Camp, which is in progress at Mohali in Chandigarh.
In the four matches played against Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana, Nipun, student of MC Khalsa High School Chand Nagar, Jammu, had scored over 250 runs, with back to back big half-centuries in the two innings of the match against Haryana, while Ateev, a student of KC Public School, Jammu, apart from scoring mammoth 157 against Haryana, scored around 300 runs in four matches played in the last season.
Nipun attends the nets at MA Stadium, Jammu under the supervision of coach Randhir Singh, while does his usual practice at Mayank Goswami Academy, Jammu, under the supervision of coach Ravi Sharma.
