JAMMU, Jan 29: For winning medals in National School Games, Director General Youth Services and Sports, Navin Agarwal felicitated Nikita Thakur and Priya Khajuria in a simple function at the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, MA Stadium, here today.
Ace skater, Nikita Thakur, student of Presentation Convent, Jammu won silver medal in Under-14 skating event, while gritty fencer, Priya Khajuria, student of Silver Bells School, bagged silver in fencing event.
Both players were part of the State teams sponsored by the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
Joint Director Youth Services and Sports, Madan Lal and Deputy Director, Kanchan Bala were present on the occasion.
