NEW DELHI, Apr 14: Nickel prices strengthened by Rs 2 at the non-ferrous metal market today on the back of surging demand from consuming industries.
Traders said, soaring demand from alloy-makers at domestic spot market, mainly kept nickel prices higher.
In the national capital, nickel plate (4×4) advanced by Rs 2 to Rs 830-835 per kg.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 126-132, nickel plate (4×4) Rs 830-835, gun metal scrap Rs 227, bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 420, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 125, lead imported Rs 132, aluminium ingots Rs 161, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 157, aluminium wire scrap Rs 157 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 155. (PTI)
