Nickel edges up on scattered demand

NEW DELHI, Mar 10: Nickel prices edged up by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today due to mild demand from consuming industries.
Traders attributed the rise in nickel prices to some demand from alloy-makers at domestic spot market.
In the national capital, nickel plate (4×4) inched up by Rs 2 to Rs 785-790 per kg.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 122-128, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 785-790, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 400, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 119, lead imported Rs 125, aluminium ingots Rs 154, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 150, aluminium wire scrap Rs 150 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 148. (PTI)
