DODA, Apr 12: Senior PCC leader and former minister Mohammed Sharief Niaz, has demanded ex- gratia/ relief for the people of Block Bhallessa, Bhalla, Bhella, Bhaderwah, Changa , Chilli, Jhakyas, Atkhar and Kahra Basnota, and other parts of Chenab valley where residential houses, shops, orchards, have been damaged due to recent incessant hail-storm, devastating winds, rains and cloud bursts.
Niaz said that more than 500 houses/ shops and other moveable and immovable property has been damaged. He urged upon the State Government to make assessment of the loss occurred due to natural calamity and sanction ex- gratia relief to the effected people at an earliest under Disaster Management funds.
