NHPC holds free medical camp

URI, Feb 21: National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) Limited Uri-I Power Station today organised a free medical-cum-vaccination camp at Government Secondary School, Gingle Uri under Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.
General Manager Uri-I Power Station inaugurated the camp in the presence of Principal GSS Gingle, senior officers of NHPC and locals of the area.
During the camp free medicines were distributed among 286 patients, while as anti-flu vaccines were administered to 30 patients. Large number of patients was examined by senior doctors.
On the occasion, the General Manager emphasised on creating more health related awareness among locals and informed that more such medical camps would be conducted for the benefit of local populace.
