New Millennium Public School celebrates Annual Day

kathua, Jan 1: New Millennium Public School, Nagri Parole today celebrated its 6th Annual Day function in the School premises, today.
Dr Bharat Bhushan, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Satpaul Mansotra, President, Private Schools Association, Kathua, Farooq Hussain, Headquarter Assistant to Deputy Commissioner Kathua, and Ashwani Dingra, Chowki Officer, Police Post , Nagri were the guests of honour on the occasion.
The programme started with lighting of ceremonial lamp and Sarswati Vandna. The students of the School presented a variety of themetic programme depicting rich cultural diversity of the country. The presentation on National Integration and Punjabi Bhangra received repeated applause.
Snehal Khajuria, Principal of the New Millennium Public School presented the progress report of the school and added that teaching faculty efforts and dedication has been the guiding principle of the institution.
Dr Bharat Bhushan ADC in his address exhorted the students to devote time to studies and excel in academics.
He said that Nagri Parole has produced a number of senior Govt functionaries including present Chief Secretary BR Sharma, former PCCF and former Member Public Service Commission, RL Bharti which are the source of inspiration for the younger lot.
Later he presented prizes among the students who had excelled in academics and extra curricular activities.
Kushal Sharma, Chairman of New Millennium Public School honoured the distinguished guests and presented vote of thanks.
The programme ended with the recitation of National Anthem.
