UDHAMPUR, Mar 13: A motorcyclist and his pillion riders were injured when their bike was hit by an ambulance on the National Highway, near Garhi, here today.
According to the police, Motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AW-5326, was hit by ambulance JK14C-8281 resulting into injuries to Ajay Kumar (17), son of Puran Chand of Devi Garh, Gopal (21), son of Shatu of Ungh Kot Reasi and Ajay (22), son of Raju of Tot Reasi.
The trio was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur and their condition was stated to be stable.
Meanwhile, Udhampur Police today recovered body of a newly born male baby from a nallah under mysterious circumstances, in village Baryal. Police shifted the body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem and other legal formalities.
A case under relevant section has been registered in this connection.
