Nepali youth killed in cylinder blast

JAMMU, Apr 18: A Nepali youth was killed today in an LPG cylinder blast in Pounichak area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the deceased Nepali youth was identified as Hari Bahadur (26) son of Gaman Bahudar, resident of Nepal. He was presently residing at a poultry farm in Badrore area falling under the limits of police post Pounichak.
The spokesman said at around 2.30 am today, when the youth was cooking something on a LPG stove in his room in the premises of the poultry farm, the LPG cylinder exploded with a big bang, resulting into on the spot death of the youth.
He said that the body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after completing all medico-legal formalities, it was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
