NCP Youth Wing holds protest

JAMMU, Nov 2: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Youth Wing today held a protest demonstration and demanded release of adequate compensation in favour of residents, whose houses were damaged due to the heavy rainfall during monsoon season.
Amid slogans, the activists of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Youth Wing led by its president Gourav Kapoor assembled at Nai Basti and hold protest against the Government.
While speaking, Kapoor alleged that the Government is not paying any heed towards the people, whose houses were damaged due to heavy rainfall during monsoon season. He demanded immediate release of compensation in their favour, failed to which NYC will come on road and hold massive protest.
He also said that the Government is least concerned over the rehabilitation and employment of the BPL people.
Kapoor demanded measures to control rising traffic problems, pollution, unplanned construction, removal of commercial hoardings outside Women College Gandhi Nagar, preventive measures to make river Tawi pollution free, international airport at Jammu, maintenance of municipal parks, etc.
