NCP minority cell delegation conducts tour of valley

JAMMU, Aug 12: A delegation led by well known sufi cleric Abdul Mustafa Mohd Akbar Ali Chisti, chairman J&K NCP minority cell and vice president alongwith his team which had visited Kashmir to meet some Sufi’s of the valley today called on former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh, NCP chief J&K State, and reported his five days visit to him.
The delegation said its meeting with some well known Sufi’s and Ulmas was quite fruitful and categorically said that Kashmir which was well known for Sufism will revive its pristine glory. While addressing the delegation Thakur Randhir Singh thanked Abdul Mustafa Mohd Akbar Ali Chisti and his team who visited and stayed with Kashmiri families in the interior of Anantnag, Ganderbal , Kangan and also met leading Ulmas. Mr Singh said he himself was very much indebted to Sufism and has been regularly visting Ajmer-E -Sharief. He further said that India has given to world great philosophers, religious leaders and Saints like Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Sant Kabir, Nizamudin Auliya, Alam-e Kashmir Sheikh Noorudin Noorani, Baba Amarnath, Vaishno Devi, Machail Mata, Shiv Khori, Nangali Sahib, Baba Gulam Shah Badshah, Bulley Shah, Asrarudin, Kishtwar, Shadra Sharief and Budan Shah, Jammu where people from various religions come to pay obeisance.  Mr Singh said the legacy and philosophy which these great philosophers have left behind must be followed religiously which is the need of the hour not only in India but throughout the world.
The delegation comprised of Gurdev Singh Jamwal, Kulbir Singh Chib, Sabar Hussain, Wahid Ali, Nasir Hussain, Sheroz Mushtaq and Jodh Singh Manhas.
