NCP chief slams Modi for demonetization

JAMMU, Jan 11: Former Minister and J&K NCP chief, Thakur Randhir Singh today slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, saying if anyone face difficulty due to demonetization that were only poor masses.
The NCP chief was speaking during a party meeting held particularly to discuss post demonetization scenario. Singh said today throughout the country NCP is organizing protests against the difficulties to be faced by the people because of demonetization.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that the situation would be normal after 50 days but even after the completion of 50 days the problems of people have not come down. It seems that the Government did not make any plan before demonetization and has never consulted economists of the country”, he added.
Krishan Kumar Digra, vice president, State NCP and chairman, NCP legal cell, said that as per media reports after Modi came to power he has given such reward to the farmers, that has increased the suicidal deaths to 42%.
GM Pal, vice president, State NCP, said that the demonetization has created chaos and difficulties for poor and middle class only while rich have converted their black money into gold.
Ch Dev Raj, chairman, NCP Kissan Sabha and RS Billowaria, general secretary of NCP said alleged that the Country did not get any advantage from demonetization instead the growth rate of the country may go down in near future due to this decision.
