UDHAMPUR, Jan 15: To highlight the local issues, a public meeting of National Conference workers was organized at Jib, here today.
During the meeting several issues and demands of the locals were highlighted with main focus for upgradation of Government Girls High School Jib.
Speaking on the occasion, NC district president Sunil Verma said that the file recommending upgradation of the Girls High School was prepared and submitted to the School Education Department in 2014 during the then NC-led Government. However, after the change of Government, the new regime did not make any progress on this long pending demand and the file is gathering dust in the secretariat, he lamented.
Sunil Verma charged the PDP-BJP Government with failure on fronts and said that only National Conference can ensure development of all three regions of the State.
Some other National Conference leaders also addressed the public meeting, which was organized by NC district Youth president Mohan Lal Sharma and presided over by NC block president Master Moti Ram.
