UDHAMPUR, July 10: A delegation of National Conference (NC) leaders led by Provincial Joint Secretary Vijay Khajuria met Chief Executive Officer Udhampur and apprised him of civic problems related to Udhampur municipality.
The delegation members demanded repair of lanes and drains and street lights within the limits of Udhampur town, shifting of garbage dumping points at Jakhani to some other location, creation of passenger sheds at Omara Morh, Salathia Chowk, Domail Chowk and other suitable locations, deployment of safai karamcharies in the Udhampur municipality areas, installation of street lights and fogging in entire down during ongoing monsoon season.
Advocate Rajesh Gupta, former district president demanded free parking slots outside court complex vis-à-vis installation of water points and cleanliness.
The deputation comprised of Ram Parshotam Sharma, District Secretary, NC Udhampur, Rama Gupta, District President, NC Women Cell, Madhu Verma, ex-sarpanch, Hari Gopal, Pt Prem Nath, ex-block president, Gurbachan Singh, etc.
