JAMMU, Feb 10: Navyug Play Way School organised Annual Sports Day with great zeal and enthusiasm in the school premises, here today.
About 154 students from class Nursery, LKG, UKG and 1st participated in various activities and enthralled the audience with their brilliant performances.
Preetika Jamwal, Principal of the institute declared the event open by releasing the balloons in the air.
In her inaugural speech she applauded the students for showing enthusiasm to participate in this event and wished them best of luck.
Various types of field events like banana race, collect and run, shot put, along with musical chair and tug of war etc added to the excitement and thrill of the event.
The prizes were distributed among the students for their excellent performance in various events of sports.
Students who were declared winners in different events included Parinidhi, Nirbay, Udhayveer, Krisha. Kartik, Kanraj, Alvish, Aadhi, Ridivan, Hardik, Tenzin, Shivam, Arushi, Anirudh, Krishiv, Shivanya, Sudha and Aayan.
Speaking on the occasion, Chander Kanta Jamwal, founder Principal of the school congratulated the winners for their superb performance.
