JAMMU, Aug 11: The members of students’ council of Nav Yug Higher Secondary School were administered oath of the office during Investiture Ceremony held in the multi purpose hall of the school.
The ceremony began with the lighting of traditional lamp by chief guest Hardev Singh Jamwal, Managing Director of the school along with Principal Preetika Jamwal and Founder of the school Chander Kanta Jamwal.
Preetika Jamwal, Principal of the school administered the oath of the office to school captains, house captain and house prefects.
Hardev Singh Jamwal administered the oath of Honour to School Captains and other leaders.
After taking oath, badges were pinned by Hardev Singh Jamwal, Preetika Jamwal and Chander Kanta Jamwal.
The members of the school council were elected after voting by the students of the school.
Paramjeet and Payal Chib of 10th class were appointed as School Captain whereas Riya, Priyanshi Vanshika and Nikita were appointed as House Captains of Progress, Peace, Liberty and Fraternity Houses respectively. Those who administered oath of House Perfect were Iccha, Ridhima, Kashavi, Siya, Kajal, Sarthak, Aradhya, Deepshikha, Daksh, Karmanya, Sparsh and Ananya.
Palak Maratha, Dhruv and Sumit were selected as Secretaries of Eco Club, Games Club and Band Club whereas Rahvi and Shanvi were selected as Secretary of Art Club and Secretary of Creative Writing and Debate Club.
