Natrang creates new history

LONDON, Oct 27: Natrang created a new history for being a first cultural organisation of India which had the honor for having the receptions by both Houses of British Parliament i.e House of Lords and House of Commons. The reception at House of Lords was hosted by The Lord Popat of Harrow and the reception at House of Commons was hosted by Bob Blackman, Member of British Parliament of Harrow East.
During the reception at house of commons, the artists of Natrang Jammu also had the occasion to present before world audience the diverse cultural traditions of Jammu and Kashmir devised designed and directed by Balwant Thakur. This programme was a part of Jammu Kashmir Festival organised by Lakshmi Kaul, Manu Khajuria Singh and Lalit Sharma and the honoured guests from Jammu and Kashmir included Ajatshatru Singh, MLC, Naveen Kumar Chaudhary, Commissioner/ Secretary, Finance Department, J&K and Imran Sheikh, Chairman CII, J&K.
The artists who received appreciation of one and all included Rahul Singh, Gauri Thakur, Shazia Batool, Sunny Mujoo, Nikhil Manhas, Ankush Bhasin, Jyoti Kumari, Bindia, Aarti Slathia, Naina Sharma, Saloni Verma Simran Kaur and Rakesh Kumar Kona. The lights and sound of the show Celebrating Diversity was designed and executed Mohd Yaseen.
