Natrang completes 18 mega shows in 9 days

JAMMU, Sept 30: Natrang created yet another history by completing 18 mega shows in 9 days. This is a record for any theatre group to showcase 18 mega shows that too in different venues and of different productions.
During Navratra Festival -2017 organized by JK tourism in association with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Natrang performed all the nine days  showcasing Mega Musical theatre presentation ‘Mata Ki Kahani’ and internationally acclaimed Dogri play Bawa Jitto both designed and directed by Balwant Thakur.
Dr Nirmal Singh, Deputy Chief Minister, graced the concluding performance which also marked the 18th show of Natrang in Navratra Festival-2017 and appreciated the show. Amongst prominent guests were MoS Ajay Nanda, Jatinder Kumar Singh, CEO Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Prasanna Ramaswamy G, Deputy Commissioner Reasi and Mrs Mamta Singh. Interestingly these shows were also appreciated by Deepak Vohra, senior most ambassador and advisor of the Prime Minster of India.
‘Mata Ki Kahani’ which featured 70 performers and technicians was based on the legends of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and was beautifully conceptualized, dramatized and exhibited on stage with in the duration of one hour.
The third play presented by Natrang during Navratra festival 2017 was about ‘Bawa Jitto’.
