JAMMU, Oct 2: National Valuer’s Day was celebrated at Amar Singh Club Jammu by J&K Branch of the Institution of Valuers Delhi under the chairmanship of HR Phonsa where M L Mir Dy. Gen. Manager Punjab National Bank (J&K Circle) was the chief guest on the occasion.
The function was attended by majority of valuers from Srinagar, Jammu and Amritsar. Technical papers on the subject of valuation were read by speakers Irfan Rashid Bhat Vice Chairman, S C Thukral, MK Gupta, Ashok Mahajan.
Addressing the gathering M L Mir expressed the importance of valuers in the developing economy, facilitating the process of extending credit facility to Bank’s customers, he emphasized upon the use of professional skill, ethics in the professional practice.
