JAMMU, Oct 1: Bharat Vikas Parishad Swami Vivekanand Branch Gandhi Nagar organized National Patriotic Group Song Competition at Guru Harikrishan Public School, Nanak Nagar, in which around fifteen schools of Gandhi Nagar, Shastri Nagar and Nanak Nagar areas are participating.
On the occasion, SSP Railways Shiv Kumar Sharma was the chief guest, while as Sukhvarsha Mehta, School Principal was guest of honour.
Jeevan Sharma, Brij Mohan and Anil Gupta acted as judges.
In the competition, Dogra Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar secured first position, whereas SD Tara Puri High School, Gandhi Nagar and Guru Harikrishan Public School, Nanak Nagar claimed second and third positions respectively.
All the participating teams were given mementoes and certificates.
The programme was conducted by Arun Sharma and vote of thanks given by VK Phoa.
Among others present were Dr Santosh Gupta, national Leader BVP, SN Sharma, Dr Subash Gupta, Vijay Sharma, Darshan Gupta, VP Gupta, etc.
