THAPKOUR (HP), Mar 17: Vaishno College of Engineering conducted a National Workshop on ‘Emerging trends in Engineering & Technology’ with the support of the Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur.
The students from various Colleges participated in the workshop and made it a big event.
Dr Arjun Kumar, who is a Research Scientist of Earthquake Engineering in IIT Roorkee with an experience of 17 years, was the chief guest.
He has the distinction of working throughout the Himalyan Belt, especially from J&K and Tripura and has the honour of publishing more than 45 Research papers on his studies.
Main aim of this workshop was to focus on the emerging trends in all the fields of Engineering & Technology.
During the workshop, the students presented their Research papers and displayed technical posters. The papers submitted by Samiksha, Sakshi, Manik and few others were appreciated by the chief guest.
