Nat Manch stages Hindustani play ‘Yuva Khoon’

JAMMU, Apr 22: Nat Manch in collaboration with University of Jammu (JU) staged Hindustani play ‘’Yuva Khoon’’ as part of its ongoing Tuesday series of Nukkad natak, at Jammu University.
Written and directed by Tarun Sharma, the play was based on the importance of blood donation which sensitizes the importance of blood donation.
The play opens with two friends talking about blood donation and one friend trying to persuade another friend. However the circumstances change and the friend’s family member was in need of blood. She was unable to find a blood donor. She tried hard to persuade people to donate blood for her brother but nobody was willing to donate blood. Somehow she managed to get a blood donor.
The actors who performed in the play were Tarun Sharma, Manali Sharma, Sidharath Sharma, Sourav Sharma and Nikhil Sharma.
Prof PK Srivastava, Dean Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu, was the chief guest on the occasion. A number of students, scholars, teaching and non-teaching staff members of the university witnessed this play.
Others who were present on the occasion included Arti Malhotra (Punjabi singer) and Shimla Sharma.
In the end, Nat Manch team was awarded by Jammu University Blood Donors and University of Jammu.
