Nanda inaugurates toilet complex, launches developmental works

REASI: Minister of State for Finance and Planning Ajay Nanda today said that government is giving priority to the works of public utilities in the town and administrative machinery is working in this regard to achieve the targets.

The Minister was speaking to people after inaugurating toilet complex near Kalika temple. Later, the Minister also laid the foundation of lanes and drains worth 6 lakhs and one culvert to be completed at an estimated cost of 3 lakhs.

Laying thrust on improvement and expansion of lanes and drains grid and sanitation facilities in the town areas, the Minister said no stone shall be left unturned in equipping the state with all basic facilities for public.

Minister said the Government is endeavoring to  improving basic services in every part of the state besides laying thrust on ensuring  more accountable, responsive and transparent administration to the people. He further said this will ensure effective implementation of developmental initiatives and welfare schemes.

Meanwhile, various deputations of locals called on the Minister and apprised him of their problems and demands seeking early redressal of the same for which the Minister assured the people that all their issues would be looked into for necessary action.
