NAGROTA, Feb 3: Former MLA and senior Congress leader Thakur Shiv Dev Singh has expressed concern over the disruption of water supply to several villages namely Garant, Lohati, Soa, Changiani and several other hamlets of these villages.
In a press statement the Ex-MLA said that he was on tour of the area and the inhabitants of above villages have complained that they are not getting drinking water supply for the last over one month.
The reason of disruption of water supply is that the motor of the pumping station got defected and not repaired so far. They have brought the matter to the notice of concerned PHE officials but all in vain.
Singh urged upon the concerned authorities to take note of this genuine demand and restore water supply to the above villages on top priority.
