JAMMU, Aug 7: The dead body of a murdered woman was found today from the gutter of a house in Khour tehsil of Jammu district.
According to police sources, the deceased was identified as Suman Sahu (29) wife of Data Ram Sahu, resident of Chattisgarh. The couple was residing in a rented house in Khour area along with another family.
The matter came to light this morning, when a man identified as Mohinder Paul, who was also living on rent in the same house, while coming out from the house, observed some foul smell coming from the gutter. When, he opened the gutter and he was shocked to see the dead body of a woman in the gutter.
He immediately informed his neighbours and police station Khour. A team of police immediately reached the spot and fished out the semi-decomposed body of the woman from the gutter and shifted it to Primary Health Centre, Pallanwala for postmortem.
A case FIR No 63/2018 under Section of 302 RPC was registered at police station Khour and two persons including husband of the deceased woman was arrested by the police.
