KISHTWAR, Mar 3: The family members of a murder victim staged protest here today.
Large number of relatives and family members of victim namely Mohammad Hussain of Dool staged protest outside old DC office, here today.
The protesters alleged that they are not satisfied by the police action in the murder of Mohammad Hussain, son of Sikander Butt of Seer Bhata, Dool, tehsil Nagsani district Kishtwar. They raised slogans demanding speedy action in the murder case of their relative.
After getting information, DySP Headquarters Nihar Ranjan along with SHO Kishtwar Inspector Sameer Jeelani rushed to the spot and pacified the protesters.
Later, some relatives including wife of the deceased met SSP Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary, who pacified and briefed them in detail about the police action including arrest of the accused Imtiyaz Ahmed alias Bhola, son of Lassa Butt of Kijayi Paddar.
