During the meeting, the leaders of the association strongly criticized the present State Government for ignoring the demands of the pensioners and other employees on one hand and extending undue favours to their own ministers and legislators by according massive hike in motor car advance, housing loan and travelling allowance on the other hand.
They said that the employees and pensioners are watching everything and will give befitting reply to the coalition partners PDP and BJP in the next elections if the Government did not fulfill the demands of low paid employees like implementation of 7th Pay Commission, enhancement of medical allowance to Rs 2000 per month, release of DA installments, regularization of daily wagers, etc.
