MTWA takes up issues with Commissioner

JAMMU, Jan 1: A delegation of Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) led by its President Ramesh Raina called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) YP Suman and apprised him about the problems confronting Kashmiri migrants.
The delegation put forth the demands including issuance of new ration cards in favour of migrant employees and pensioners, issuance of RBA category certificates to migrants belonging to specified reserved backward areas from Kashmir, shifting of Camp HSS Satwari to migrant inhabited area of lower Barnai and providing CHSS Durga Nagar and CHSS Bohri with Government buildings.
Commissioner gave patient hearing to the delegation and informed that the matter regarding issuances of new ration cards and RBA certificates have been taken up with the concerned authorities. He also assured all possible help for the redressal of other demands.
Among others present were Bal Ji Marhatta, Muno Ji Pandita, Pankaj Koul, Satesh Bhat and Sunil Reshi.
