JAMMU, Feb 27: A deputation of Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) led by its president Ramesh Raina and accompanied by M K Yogi president NC Minority Cell Jammu called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commiss-ioner, Y P Suman and reiterated the shifting of Migrant School Satwari to Lower Barnai which is inhabited by the migrants before the commencement of new academic session 2017-18.
The delegation also demanded issuance of ration cards in favour of migrant employees and pensioners.
Yogi in the interest of migrants in general and students in particular strongly pleaded for the resolution of these issues.
The RRC assured the delegation that the issue will be resolved shortly.
Later the delegation also discussed the issue with DC Relief. The delegation also visited the Fund Office Jammu.
