MP visits Maharaja Gulab Singh Fort in Kalakote

RAJOURI, Dec 1:  Member Parliament from Jammu-Poonch constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma paid visit to village Simbal Gala, Taryath,  Maharaja Gulab Singh Fort in  Kalakote Assembly constituency and sanctioned Rs 10 lakh  for various development works.
The BJP MP paid his maiden visit to Maharaja Gulab Singh Qila in Kalakote  and interacted with the people residing in hilly area of  Kalakote constituency. He listened to the problems faced by the inhabitants and other demands raised by them.  He  also assured that their demands were  genuine and will be fulfilled on  priority basis.
The MP said that Gulabgarh area would be electrified on the top priority as the people of this belt are still deprived of electricity  facility.  ” I have  issued necessary direction s to the Power Development Department on the spot to electrify Gulabgarh  area  as early as possible,” the MP maintained.
He further said that  the best efforts would be bring  Gulabgarh Qila of Kalakote on tourism map. He referred to the great deeds of  Maharaja Gulab Singh while his visit to this fort.  He sanction Rs  2 lakh  from MPLAD Fund to initiate the development in Gulabgarh Qila. The people of the area extended gratitude to the MP  for his efforts and contribution.
Thereafter, he also visited  Taryath and held public meeting  there.  The MP  listened  to the  demands of inhabitants and sanction Rs 5 lakh  for the development works in at  Taryath.
Capt  Som Dutt,  District president Sunderbani also appreciated the good works done by the Member  Parliament and advised the masses to avail the facility of Centrally sponsored schemes.
Senior party leaders Lekh Raj, Anchal Singh, Mohan Lal,  Satpal Sharma, Naresh Kumar, Rakesh, Subash Chander, Vijay Sharma and others were also present on the occasion.
