Mother India School donates Rs 21000 to cancer patient

JAMMU, Dec 7: Students and staff of Mother India Senior Secondary School, RS Pura donated Rs 21000 to a boy who is suffering from brain cancer.
The boy namely Gagandeep Singh son of Jagjeet Singh, resident of Simbal Camp (RS Pura) is under treatment of brain cancer at Max Hospital, Chandigarh. He belongs to a poor family and needs huge amount of money for his treatment.
Three students of the School namely Rabjot Singh, Sharanjeet Singh and Gurjot Singh of Class 11th (Science Stream) put their efforts and collected the said amount from students and staff members.
Principal of the School, Sonia Tohra, handed over the cheque of Rs 21000 to the maternal uncle of the boy in presence of students and staff members.
The staff members present on the occasion were Naresh Choudhary, Narinder Singh, Ankush Gupta, Arjun Kapoor, Parampreet Kour, Anju Bala, Amita Choudhary, Dharti Pikhan, Sheetal Chib, Pooja Gupta, Narinder Kumar, Parmod Kumar, Renu Devi, Sukhdev Singh, Sohan Lal, Santosh Devi and others.
