More organizations condemn Pulwama terror attack, pay tributes to martyrs

JAMMU, Feb 16: Kashmir wing of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) today paid rich tributes to CRPF Jawans, who got martyrdom in fidayeen attack at Lethpora in Pulwama on Thursday. The BJP leaders lit candles in front of the photos of the martyrs and prayed for the peace to the departed souls.
Jammu and Kashmir National Panther Party (JKNPP) paid floral tribute to the martyred CRPF Jawans at its Party office near New Bus stand area of Samba. Ex-MLA Samba, Yashpal Kundal and District president Rajeshwar Singh, while paying tributes to the martyrs, condemned the gruesome attack on them.
Duggar Pradesh Party strongly condemned the killing of 44 CRPF Jawans in Pulwama terror attack and described it a most dastardly act. Uday Chand, president of the party, said it is utter failure of the successive national leadership who could not handle Pakistan sponsored terrorism for the long period of near 30 years. He appealed the peace loving citizens/youth of Jammu to maintain communal harmony at all cost as it is the sole motive of the Pakistan and its agents in our country to create communal arsons.
J&K National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI), State president, Rajesh Gupta along with party workers paid their respect to the CRPF martyrs by observing two minutes silence, in a party meeting held today. Gupta asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to understand the emotions and sentiments of 130 crore countrymen and win their hearts by taking a big action against our neighbouring terrorist nation.
Panun Kashmir held a meeting to condemn the Pulwama attack. During the meeting, panun Kashmir president, Vijay Bhat and other members conveyed heartfelt condolences to bereaved families. They appealed the Government of India to act fast and in a decisive manner rather than mere condemnation. Two minutes silence was observed in the honour of the martyrs.
To pay homage to the martyrs of Pulwama attack, a condolence meeting was held near the OPD Complex of Government Medical College, Jammu. It was led by Principal and Dean, Dr Sunanda Raina and attended by the Head of the Departments, Administrator, Medical Superintendents, Faculty members, Residents, Ministerial staff, Para-medics and students of the College. At the meeting everyone lighted a candle after which two minutes silence was observed to pray for the martyrs.
Movement for Justice for Refugees of 1947 from PoK, strongly condemned the terror attack. JS Sudan, convener of the Movement, said this barbarous thinking of the people behind this barbarious attack is centuries old. “This has to be condemned by all and needs to be dealt with all the forces and means by every country of the world,” he said, adding, their community is fully with the nation to condemn and fight against the perpetrators of the militancy.
All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS) held a prayer meeting in its office premises over sad loss of CRPF persons in dastardly attack at Pulwama. The prayer meeting was led by the AIKS president, Col (Retd) Tej Tikoo. The members present expressed anguish on this barbaric act and paid rich tributes to the martyrs. They also conveyed their sympathies with the families of the martyrs. Two minute silence was observed during the meeting.
A meeting of the members of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) was held under the presidentship of Lalit Mahajan, president, BBIA, during which all the members observed two minutes silence to pay their respect to the departed souls of CRPF Jawans killed in the terror attack on Thursday in Pulwama. The members expressed heartfelt sympathies with the families of the martyrs and also adopted a resolution sharing grief and anguish of the peace loving people of the state over loss of lives of our CRPF Jawans.
Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha, J&K held a meeting at its head office at Vishwakarma Chowk, Bakshi Nagar Jammu and condemned the suicidal attack on CRPF convoy in Kashmir valley. While expressing deep sorrow over the incident, Shashi Verma, president of the Sabha stated that this attack is brutal and is an alarming signal to the peace and harmony of our state. He expressed solidarity with the paramilitary troops guarding the Valley.
Jagatambe Sharika Sansthan, Subash Nagar held a condolence meeting today to pay tributes to 44 martyrs of CRPF and strongly condemned the Fidayeen attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama district on Thursday. The president of the Sansthan, M K Jalali has urged the Government to smash the terrorist camps in PoK and withdraw security of separatist leaders.
Doctors Forum Jammu strongly condemned the Pulwama terror attack and prayed for the peace to the departed souls of the brave CRPF personnels who have lost their lives in the attack. The forum also expressed solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families of martyred CRPF personals urged the Government to take stern steps towards such terrorist organizations which are desperately working for the disruption of peace in the State by their devilish and inhumane activities.
All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) Social in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its president Abdul Majid Malik strongly condemned the Pulwama attack. The Union members condoled the deaths of the CRPF personnel and expressed their solidarity with the family members of the deceased Jawans.
Virasat-E-Khalsa Samabhal Society, while strongly condemned the Pulwama attack, said, “Such attacks are required to be answered with iron hands and all those responsible directly or indirectly need to be brought to book and punished. The Society members said at all costs we must maintain communal harmony, especially in Jammu and Kashmir”. They also appealed the society to financially support the bereaved families of the martyrs CRPF Jawans as a mark of respect.
Krishan Singh (Vr C Awardees) Memorial Welfare Committee Urlian, Udhampur held a condolence meeting under the president ship of Mahadeep Singh Jamwal, ex-SSP J&K police, to pay homage to the Pulwama terror attack martyrs. Expressing solidarity with the families of the martyrs, Jamwal appealed the general mass to show utmost restraint, while expressing their emotions during bandh calls. A two minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect to the departed souls with prayers for early recovery of those injured in the attack.
