Modi Govt committed to empower needy, poor: Ganga

SAMBA, June 9: MLA Chander Prakash Ganga today said that Modi Government at the Centre is deeply concerned about the interests of poor and neglected segments of the nation and has launched numerous policies and programs to facilitate these people with enhanced basic services so that they could live a dignified life.
While elaborating on reformative measures initiated by Modi Government, during a function at Bari Brahmana, Ganga extolled that under the stewardship of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi India is fast marching towards new dimensions of progress and prosperity.
“Every field, whether it is nation’s security and integrity, development, export, industry, science and technology or medical, education, has attained tremendous growth due to the innovative and creative programs and policies of Modi Government”, he asserted.
Spelling out other initiatives, the MLA made a mention of schemes like Jan Dhan Yojna, Kisan Credit Card scheme, Kisan Faisal Bima Yojna, etc. He also congratulated the people for recently launched Sobhagya Scheme which will make sure that every household gets power connection irrespective of the counting and density of the area.
Taking a dig at the anti-poor approach and misgovernance of Congress, the MLA asserted that this mischievous party always befooled people and used them to get political mileage. “But now the people have understood the futility of believing the wrong and are wise enough to see that who is their true well wisher”, he added.
Empowerment of villages is being focused upon which is pre-requisite for empowerment of the nation by ensuring enhanced services to these parts”, the MLA maintained.
Among others present were Ashwani Sharma (Ex-MLA Bishnah), Devinder Singh (AD, Food, Civil Supplies and Public Distribution, Samba), Saqib Saleem (Tehsildar Bari Brahmana), Ajay Sangra and officers from various departments.
