Modi committed to development of border areas: Ashwani

JAMMU, Mar 19: Senior BJP leader and former MLA Ashwani Sharma today said that Union Government led by Narendra Modi has paid special attention for development of backward states of country including J&K by granting liberal funding.
Addressing a public meeting at Arnia in R S Pura today, Ashwani Sharma showered praise on PM for his dedication and commitment towards the work and working for the betterment and upliftment of all sections of the society.
“Soon compensation for houses damaged and other type of loss and damage will be provided to the border people and BJP government is committed for that,” he said.
He announced that soon work on the most awaited project in the area, Tamala Nallah bridge, will be started, which has remained the demand of people living on the IB. This bridge will connect Arnia with Treva and people living in the vicinity will be benefitted with this.
He also took on National Conference and Congress parties to task for their flip flop on issues concerning people. Condemning Farooq Abdullah’s statement, Sharma said that he is not to be taken seriously as he changes colours every time when he feels NC is losing ground.
