UDHAMPUR, Dec 26: 38th Annual Day cum Prize Distribution Function was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour at Modern Academy High School Rehmbal here today.
On this occasion, Rameshwar Bandral, Principal GHSS Salmeri was the chief guest.
Ajay Gupta, General Secretary J&K PSA, Bodh Raj (Retd. Lect.), Paramjeet Singh (SHO Rehmbal), Shamsher Singh Sarpanch, Dr NC Batti and Ranjeet Singh Datta were the guests of honour.
The programme began with the lighting of the traditional lamp followed by “Sarswati Vandana”.
Welcome speech and Annual report was presented by Ankush Verma, Principal of the School.
A beautiful cultural programme was presented by the students of different classes which enthralled the audience.
On this occasion all position and distinction holders from different classes were felicitated for their achievements in different activities by the guests.
Chief guest appealed to the parents to concentrate on their children so that they cannot become the prey of drug addiction which has become a big threat for the future generation.
At the end vote of thanks was presented by the school coordinator followed by the National Anthem.
