MO suspended, NHM employees terminated

KISHTWAR, Aug 7: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Angrez Singh Rana today suspended Incharge Medical Officer (MO) and terminated the services of NHM employees for unauthorized absence.
While taking strong note on account of unauthorized absence of para-medico staff of PHC Chatroo on August 3 this year wherein during working time one lady who got injured was denied treatment by the medical staff of PHC Chatroo without any solid reasons, DDC appointed ADDC Kishtwar for conducting discreet enquiry into the matter.
Based on the preliminary enquiry, DDC Kishtwar terminated the services of Sanjeev Sharma, Laboratory Technician and Mohammad Ishaq, ISM Dawasaaz working under NHM who were found unauthorized absent from their duties. Besides, one permanent employee namely Sunil Kumar Junior X-Ray Technician was also recommended for termination under Article 128 CSR to the administrative department who was also found unauthorized absent from his legitimate duties.
In addition, DDC Kishtwar taking cognizance of lapses on the part of Dr Shafqat Javeed Zargar, Incharge Medical Officer PHC Chatroo who allowed leave in favour of 9 employees out of 27 employees thus affecting health care delivery system in PHC was also placed under suspension.
Meanwhile, for the smooth working and functioning of PHC Chatroo, DDC ordered Deputy CMO Mohammad Yaqoob Mir to look after the work of BMO Chatroo in addition to his own duties.
