JAMMU, Jan 22: Mount Litera Zee School (MLZS), a formal school of Zee learn Ltd. launched its first school in Jammu District at Anand Nagar, Bohri, here.
The launching of the school was announced by Er. Parneesh Mahajan, Chairman of the school during a press conference.
MLZS is the fastest growing chain of K-12 Schools in India having 100 schools in 97 cities. MLZS is awarded India’s School chain of the year in 2015 by Indian Education Awards 2015. The Schools aim to empower the children of the city with quality education along with exposure to world class facilities for an overall development.
For holistic development of the school, MLZS Anand Nagar, Bohri will provide majority of the sports facilities to the students. The school will be having own fleet of buses.
MLZS, Anand Nagar, Bohri, Jammu will also be conducting a scholarship test in the name of founder Chairman of the trust Late TR Mahajan on Sunday, January 29, 2017. The test will be for the age group of 7-10 years. The test will be of two categories namely Pen-Paper Test and Show your talent (Any one of the three- Music, Dance, Art and Craft).
The students will be judged by the combined marks of both the categories. Admission fee of the top 10 students selected will be waived off.
Mukesh Shelat, Regional School Director, Zee Learn Ltd. also conducted an advisory council meet of the school. He said that at MLZS, we focus on holistic learning of the child where technology and activities are embedded into the curriculum through their proprietary books.
Shelat further added that we would achieve our goal of delivering good quality education to every child of the city. We look forward to work with the people of this city to make MLZS a beacon of excellence for the children of Jammu.
