MLAs raise issues of public importance during Zero Hour

JAMMU, Jan 31: Several members today raised public importance issues during Zero Hour in the Legislative Assembly.
Hakeem Mohammed Yaseen pleaded for continuation of medical and paramedical staff appointed under SRO-384 on merit basis.
M Y Tarigami demanded constitution of Advisory Committee to address the concerns of Chopan community and called for giving Tribal status to them.
Choudhary Mohammad Akram demanded early restoration of defunct 132 KV line in his constituency.
Bashir Ahmad Dar demanded compensation to the persons killed in his constituency.
Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi demanded repairs and renovation of roads in his constituency particularly in Peerbagh area. He also demanded for early restoration of damaged transformers in his constituency.
Mushtaq Ahmad Shah demanded development of power infra and urged for ensuring uninterrupted power supply in Tral constituency.
Asgar Ali Karbalaie demanded for early declaration of 10th and 12th class results in Kargil district.
Mohammad Akbar Lone demanded comprehensive policy for regularization of daily wagers, daily rated and casual labourers working in different departments in the State.
Raja Manzoor Ahmad demanded rehabilitation policy for injured persons of border areas.
Neelam Kumar Langeh demanded separate Girls Higher Secondary School in his constituency. He also demanded upgradation of High School Bulandpur as the same has been decided in the District Development Board meeting held under the Chairmanship of former Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
