SAMBA, Feb 25: MLA Samba, DK Manyal along with PW “R&B Officer started a construction work of a road from Budhwani to main Bazar, Samba which also Connect ZEO office and Christian Mohalla.
The works will be executed under the supervision of PWD (R&B) at an estimated cost of around Rs 5 lacs and about 500 mtr long.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that this was the long pending demand of the locals, so he took it up on priority so that residents of the area should not face any problem pertaining to development in their areas.
The MLA said, “he is committed to provide all basic amenities to the people of his constituency including drinking water, road connectivity, electricity, health, drainage system and education”.
He also informed that a comprehensive plan has been formulated for up-gradation and expansion of basic facilities to provide all infrastructural facilities to the people of his Constituency. He sought cooperation of the people in implementing the development programmes on ground level.
Earlier MLA laid foundation Stone of Pump room of tube well at Sargal,Diani.
This work will be done under the estimated cost of Rs six lacs.
The work started in the presence of Executive Engineer PHE, AEE, JE and BJP party workers and locals. The residents of the area thanked MLA for completing their long pending demand on priority. The residents of Chak Jangi and Sargal and its adjoining areas would get relief from shortage of drinking water.
On this occasion Dr. Manyal said the Government has initiated a number of water supply schemes to provide pure drinking water to the people and overcome the problem in water scarce areas.
Others who were present during the occasion were Amar Singh, Sanju Mandal presidents Samba, Bina Bhagat, K. C Bhagat, Binny and some prominent members of residents and locals.
