MLA Ramnagar visits far-flung areas of constituency

RAMNAGAR, Mar 11: Continuing his tirade for development and upliftment of hitherto bad-pocket, far-flung and rural areas of Ramnagar constituency, MLA Ramnagar, Ranbir Singh Pathania undertook a on-foot sojourn of more than 20 kms across the riff-riff terrain of villages of  Konain, Bhialla, Bhatti, Dhanoo, Dhanwalat, Garseri, Pangyal, Sunetar-Khaas.
Mr Pathania along with line officers of various departments attended small public meetings and listened patiently to the day-to-day problems being faced by the public.
Spot instructions were issued for mitigating the common problems related to drinking water, electricity and road connectivity.
Mr Pathania kick-started the work on  major road project from Sunetar khas to Parla-Udhak.
The road link measuring a stretch of 11.25 kms costing Rs 800.97 lakhs will be completed within a span of 18 months and thereafter will be macadamized. This road link will serve as an alternate connectivity for the entire block of Parli-Dhaar with Ramnagar.
This road when completed will also boost the religious tourism in the area as much revered shrine of Baba-Khadsar will also get connectivity.
Mr Pathania also announced blacktopping of Sunetar-Tourri road.
Regarding the long suspended work on Sunetar-Dhanwalat road which has been marred in unnecessary and uncalled for politicizing, Mr Pathania directed immediate restoration of this link and opening it for public traffic.
Amongst thunderous applause and deafening renting of slogans, Mr Pathania also announced that once Sunetar-Dhanwalat road is restored, blacktopping work on this stretch will be immediately started.
Reacting to public demand Mr Pathania announced construction of an Examination Hall and laboratory rooms for HS Konain.
He also announced boundary wall for HS Konain, MS Dhanno, MS Dhanwalat.
Mr Pathania inaugurated newly constructed buildings of KGVB Dhanwalat and Ayurvedic dispensary.
He was accompanied by officers of various line departments and local party functionaries.
