JAMMU, June 26: Jammu East MLA and party chief whip Rajesh Gupta kick started the work of the construction of community hall of Ram Ashram Peer Kho in Ward Number 3, costing Rs 17 lakh.
The MLA was accompanied by Xen JMC Satish Kumar Wali, JE R K Koul. Kashyap Rajput Sabha president Ram Lubhaya, Chamanlal, Ashok, Jeetraj, BJP leaders Ramesh Sharma, Rajeev Bharadwaj, Kuldeep Sharma, Rajinder Gupta, Prof Shyam, Rajesh Nischal, Narottam Sharma, Amit Khanna, Navin Gupta, Dhansaroop, Ram Ashram Committee members Ram Niwas Aggarwal, Rajinder Abrol, Sunil Gupta, Arun Gupta and others also accompanied the MLA.
Rajesh Gupta, while speaking on the occasion, said that the world is well aware of our capacities under the dynamic leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi and nobody can dare to cast an evil eye on the unity and integrity of this nation. He said that the declaration of the Jammu as a smart city is a matter of pride for us and would lead to the overall improvement in the civic amenities.
He also congratulated the Muslim brothers on the occasion of Eid and also offered good wishes to the members of the Hindu community on the occasion of Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra.
Rajesh Gupta said that our country is a wonderful mosaic of different religious beliefs living in perfect harmony and peace with each other. He said that the syncretic culture of our country is an example for others to follow and the country has capacity to deal with challenges in a democratic manner for emerging victorious.
