MLA kick starts construction of footpath

JAMMU, Dec 29: Jammu East MLA and party chief whip Rajesh Gupta inaugurated the construction work of the footpath of Rajinder Bazaar at an estimated cost of Rs 8 lakh.
The PWD officials who accompanied the MLA included AEE Rajesh Sharma, JE Jagdish Singh, Sanjay Kapoor and Rakesh Khajuria.
The members of the Rajinder Bazaar Traders Association welcomed the MLA for initiating the process of the construction of footpath.
The members of the association who were present on the occasion included Atul Rajpal, Krishan Lal Gupta, Arjun Gupta, Balraj Gupta and Raman Gandotra.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that development is an ongoing process and would continue at a rapid speed. He said that Prime Minister’s inspirational leadership has energized the whole country and every citizen is whole heartedly contributing in the process of nation building. The welfare schemes launched by the Modi Government provide every individual the opportunity to grow and prosper. He said that no previous Government’s in history have been able to provide so many opportunities for its citizens that Modi Government has provided in 3 years time.
He said that this is the time when our nation would take its place amongst the very top nations in the world, a place that it richly deserves.
Rajesh Gupta said that the Government has taken landmark decisions like demonetization, GST implementation and abolition of Triple Talaq Bill. He said that the BJP is only driven by the long term interests of the nation and not populism as practiced by other parties.
BJP leaders mandal president Prof Shyam Gupta, Chaman Lal, Rajesh, Gopal, Jia Lal, Rama Pul, Ramesh Sharma, Hari Om, Madan Gopal, Tony, Subash Sangra, Rajeev Bharadwaj, Gokul Koul, Rajinder Gupta, Rajesh Nischal, Raj Kumar and many others were also present on the occasion.
