Doda, Nov 5 : Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Doda Shakti Raj Parihar today listened to the people’s problems at a public grievances redressal camp at village Dhara.
The camp was held as part of the efforts of the MLA to reach out the people in every nook and corner of his constituency.
The MLA Doda was accompanied by District Development Commissioner Doda Bhupinder Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police Doda Zahid Naseem Manhas, Chief Planning Officer Doda Youginder Katoch and other District Officers.
A large number of people hailing from Dhara and its adjoining areas attended the camp and raised their issues and problems.
The MLA also inaugurated newly constructed 33/11 K.V receiving Station in the area and distributed free LPG connections to local BPL families under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY).
The MLA gave patient hearing to all the deputations and assured that all their genuine issues will be redressed on priority.
The MLA stressed upon the district administration to ensure better civic amenities to the people including safe drinking water, electricity supply, widening of roads, health services, education facilities. He also asked the concerned to extend the benefits of schemes of Social Welfare and Rural Development Departments to the people.
He asked the departments to create awareness among the masses about various State and Centrally Sponsored Schemes
He assured that all eligible families would be provided free gas connection under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
